Thursday=weekend prep day!

Soo how is it that I got soo much done today (kinda) where normally I feel like I did nothing?  I did as normal and went to the 9am crossfit WOD and saw Dr Nelson after that.  Although my coach couldn't believe I came, apparently no one comes the day before the crossfit games open wod.   It's my day off and my day to bust my ass but I guess I'll be sorry tomorrow. So today was a split jerk which I like despite my shoulder being tender and I lifted heavy and it felt great.  I even paused for a pic!   No shoulder pain thanks to Dr Nelson. I got up to 135lbs with a PR and I prob could've went heavier because I was still comfortable enough to hold it for a pic lol.  That movment feels natural to me, its lifts like the snatch and clean (which have gotten better lately) that dont.


 So this whole Crossfit Games Open thing is new to me and I didnt realize how big of a deal it is.  Im excited to see how I do and watch my team kick ass.  We are doing the open WOD on fridays for the next 5 weeks.  It dawned on me that Im staying to squeeze in a color for on of my favs after 5 and I have a concert to go to in AC at 8 and then a bachelorette party after that.  I was thinking about it yesturday and there was no way I could make it.  Scores have to be in by monday so I thought maybe Sunday.... then Rob let me know we had a brunch to go to. OMG!  Sooo theres no way after busting my ass all this time i was going to miss the first WOD of the open.  OK... wait for it... im going to the 630am class!!!!  If you know me you know that im on meds that I have to take on an empty stomach, wait a half hour, then take more meds that i have to eat with.  And... we all know that we need to eat a lil something before we workout.  This means waking up about an hour before class. UGHHHH 5:30am!!!! Im not going to last and im supposed to go all night if i have to get up that early!  Im planning on showering there and going straight to work.

After that I stopped for my starbucks treat, venti iced coffee, but I skipped the sweet and low.  I wanted to try something with my vitamix.  I threw my awesome new protein Tripact (which I LOVE), half a banana, 2 cups of spinach, my whole iced coffee and it was fabulous!!!  My plans for the day included picking up things at the store for Alyicas Rice Krispie treat party, COFFEE, and doing some laundry and outfit planning for the next few days.  I wont have time to do much in between all the fun ill be having all weekend!  Robbie informed me that we wont be seeing each other til sat night... thats crazy!  What this post comes down to is im kinda stressed about the open and trying to do it so early in the morning, getting through a 10 hr 100% booked day, and being able to rock out flawlessly at the Deftones show tomorrow night.  So obviously you wont be hearing from me til Sunday night.
